Congratulations, you’ve taken the most difficult step toward helping your child . . .

Young children's brains lack the verbal and cognitive processes that we see emerging in later elementary school age students.  Preteens may feel lost in the gap between childhood and adolescence and need help to navigating their new world.  Adolescents experience a variety of rapid physical changes and emotional challenges. All these challenges can make this a perplexing time for parents.

Individual clients have unique needs at each stage of development and cannot be treated with a one-size-fits all approach to therapy.  By utilizing the principles of

Play Therapy, I am able to work with even the smallest of children overcome their particular struggles.  Researchers have found, that expressive techniques, such as art and sand tray therapy, help adolescents process their emotions and experiences.

Children do not exist in a vacuum, therefore, I collaborate with professionals, families, and educators to provide thorough and personalized services.
